What are Sister-locs?
Sister locks are a versatile natural hairstyle that consists of tiny-sized deadlocks. Instead of relying on a twisting or rolling technique, sister locks are created by using a special tool that builds the locks from the ends of hair to the roots. They are maintained using the interlocking method. The main thing that differentiates sister-locs from traditional locs is their tiny size. Sister-locs parts usually range from 1/8 inch to 3/8 inch in width. As a general estimate, most people end up with 250 to 400 locs. If you have a larger head, you may get more than 400 sister-locs, especially if you want them to be small. For smaller heads and those who prefer larger locs, you may end up with closer to 250 locks. Sister-locs are ideal for everyone with natural hair and all natural hair textures can be locked.
It is not a service that is easy to reverse once the hair is locked. They can last as long as you want them in with proper care. Sister-locs were created for naturally curly, coily, and kinky hair textures. Women who are transitioning from relaxers can get the style. Sister-locs will also work for you if you have fine hair. The most important thing is that your hair should not be badly compromised. Putting any extra stress on severely damaged hair will only exacerbate the issue. If your hair is damaged and falling out or breaking off, it is advised to wait until your hair is in a healthier state before you get it locked or you can trim the unhealthy hair and loc the healthy hair.

Fewer products are required :Sister-locs do not like a ton of products. They look and behave best when they’re clean and free of product. This means that there’s no need to buy tons of stylers, serums, or other products.
Cons
Cost :Within the first year of having Sisterlocks, you will have spent a lot of money on the initially installation and maintenance sessions.
Thin appearance :Your locs may start off thin, and this can be difficult for some to deal with.
They require patience :Your hair will take time to get longer, which can be frustrating for some. But with dedication and regular maintenance, your locs will grow long and luscious.
